How it works

  1. Upload a plan. Any clear 2D plan image: builder brochure page, architect drawing or a photo of a printed plan.
  2. Walls become geometry. The tool reads walls, doors, windows, room names and the dimensions printed on the plan, and builds a true-to-scale 3D model in your browser.
  3. Furnish and add people. Rooms are furnished by type (bed, wardrobe, sofa, dining, kitchen counter, sanitary ware) and scaled human figures are placed so sizes read correctly.
  4. Customise and export. Change sofa and bed colours, flooring, wall paint and curtains; move or swap furniture; export a PNG in 1080p, 2K or 4K.

Why this converter keeps your plan exact

Most AI "2D to 3D" tools work by asking an image generator to imagine a 3D version of your picture. The results look attractive but walls drift, rooms merge and dimensions disappear, because the generator never understood the plan as a building. This converter does it the other way round. It first turns the drawing into geometry, with every wall at the length the plan states, then renders that geometry as 3D. The picture can only ever show what the plan says.

That difference matters when the image is going to a buyer, a bank or a vastu consultant. A 12'0" × 13'4" bedroom stays 12'0" × 13'4" in the 3D view, the entrance faces the way the plan says, and the balcony width is right.

What you can change

  • Fabric colour of sofas, beds, dining chairs and curtains
  • Floor finish per room: vitrified tile, wooden, marble, matte stone
  • Wall colour, with the labels layer on or off
  • Furniture: move, rotate, swap or remove any piece
  • People: add a family set, move them room to room, or remove them
  • View: top-down, 30° isometric or eye-level walk-in

Tips for the best result

  • Use the largest, sharpest version of the plan you have; brochure PDFs work well.
  • Plans with room names and dimensions (for example "LIVING 13'0" × 17'6"") are scaled automatically; plans without them can be scaled by entering one known wall length.
  • Crop away legends, logos and site layouts so only the unit plan is in the image.

Frequently asked questions

Is my floor plan uploaded to a server?

No. The plan is read and rendered inside your browser. Nothing is sent to Cortex Digital Hub or any other server, which also means there is nothing for us to store or leak.

Which file types can I use?

JPG, PNG, WebP and single-page PDF floor plans. Clear black-line plans with room names and dimensions give the best result.

Can I change the sofa colour or flooring?

Yes. Fabrics, flooring, wall colour and curtains can be changed, and furniture and people can be moved, added or removed.

Can I use the output commercially?

Yes. Images you create from your own plans are yours to use in brochures, listings and presentations.

Is it free?

Yes. The 3D plan, customisation and export are free with no sign-up. An optional photo-realistic AI render is planned as a paid extra because it uses a paid AI model.
